Our story
With over a decade of experience in the event industry, The Event Guys ATL has grown from a passion for design into a full-service creative company known for unforgettable celebrations and elevated experiences.
At the heart of our company is Crystal Hutchinson, a seasoned planner, designer, and florist whose expertise in all things event-related brings every detail to life. Our unique journey into custom dance floors began when a client requested a monogrammed design on the venue’s floor. That one request sparked a new specialty—dance floor wrapping—and inspired us to master the craft.
In 2020, Barry officially launched T.E.G., and the company quickly gained momentum through word-of-mouth referrals and strong relationships with local planners. As we grew, so did our inventory and capabilities, allowing us to offer an even wider range of custom event enhancements.
Today, The Event Guys are proud to be listed as preferred vendors at esteemed venues such as the Dekalb History Center, Genesis Ballroom, and the Douglasville Convention Center.
As our work evolved, we found a natural extension of our design expertise in the world of home organization and styling. After privately assisting clients with their living spaces, we’re excited to now offer professional home services that bring the same thoughtful detail and aesthetic harmony from events into everyday life.
